Earn High School Credits for On-the-job Experience
Alberta Education recognizes the value of learning in a work setting where employability skills develop as part of job exploration and job training programs.
Students interested in Work Experience 15-25-35, Internship, or a Skilled Trade have the opportunity to earn high school credit during their summer employment.

Skilled Trades, Internship, or Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)
- May 1 - August 23, 2024
- Students interested in becoming a registered apprentice in a certified trade must complete 125 hours in work experience before submitting a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) application. This application is
made through Apprenticeship and Industry Trades (AIT) in collaboration with their employer.
