This concise teacher professional development course will teach you how to incorporate poster presentations into your gifted and talented science classroom to foster critical thinking. You will learn how to design lab activities that facilitate good experimental design and data collection and how to effectively teach students data analysis. Using their data, students will build a poster presentation and participate in a gallery walk to engage in collaborative learning. The course comes with a downloadable PDF of the content, a planning document to support you in your experiment design, and a poster presentation plan. There is also a poster template you can provide to students, ensuring their presentations will be targeted and thorough.
